The sword is a really nice tamping experience. The click is very satisfying, the build quality is great, and the tamper feels substantial.
The walnut is a little too red for my liking but if you don’t have anything else that is walnut, you won’t notice. If you have other walnut equipment, go for a solid color.
For the price this tamper is not worth it.
This tamper holds onto the coffee grounds. Not just on the face of it but on the backside of the tamper. As the plunger goes forward, coffee pours into the backside of it. Which means this tamper isn’t a great fit .
The ridges on the face of the tamper hold onto grounds as well. Even if you twist the temper after you tamp, the grounds don’t really release from the face of the tamper.
Im not happy with it at all!!
