Very mixed bag. Shipment was incomplete, missing the key component the magnet. Lastaforest was very responsive to my telling them, after telling me that their records showed a complete shipment and my proving it was incomplete with a photo which is attached. Problem is they said they would send a replacement “as soon as possible” without saying when that would be. Since I ordered the device on July 6th and received it (incomplete) on July 30th, my hope is that it arrives before another month goes by. Lastaforest ships from China, and would do well to establish a US inventory in a free trade zone in the US. It would greatly improve service.

I wanted to love this magnetic puck removal tool, but it works for only half my pucks, and that too only partially. It’s not worth the price. Delivery is via post and I had to go to the post office and spend an hour getting it. I’d rather buy on Amazon, if this was bought on amazon, I would have returned it by now… I made the mistake of buying two.. I also bought a nice portafilter, but the basket it came with had holes too large and I fixed that by using one of my old IMS baskets
I have real rostfree, so I need replace stronger magnets. Otherwise OK.
Excellent concept and practical tool for serious espresso aficionados. The only suggestion I have is to make the capture puck screen magnet a little stronger.
All in all, it’s a nice thing to have. The main reason for 3 stars is that the magnet is not that strong. If the puck screen is hot, or lodged a bit strong into the coffee basket, the magnet won’t lift it up. Another point to improve is the glue fixing the arm to its location. I misjudged the placement, and hard to struggle reaping it off where it was and gluing it to a new place. Ended up tearing the arm of the base in the process and had to superglue it back in. Bottom line, it’s a nice to have, but not a must have element.

Product is chipped, doesn't look anything like the product listed, and doesn't work with a Normcore pick screen.
Quite comfortable to click on my puck screen after pulling espresso.
No more banging the Portafilter in the sink, hoping just the puck screen comes out.
This really improved my workflow. I love how the strong magnet pops out my puck screen before knocking out the puck. The way it attaches and adjusts give optionality on the placement. Great tool.
I purchase kit from this company periodically and the experience is always positive..and the products are of consistently great quality.This puck holder is very handy both for holding the puck screen and removing it after brewing, plus it's easily attached to your machine in any position that's good for you. Recommended.

This product gives off a premium feel from materials to packaging. When I unboxed it, I was surprised by the weight and solid feel. That’s the sign of a well made item.
I used to leave the puck screen on the counter, which made it dirty and easy to misplace. Not anymore. This holder keeps it clean and looks great too. I even bought another one for my small coffee shop.

I'm very impressed with the strong magnetic force of this holder. It holds firmly and doesn't slip.
The magnetic arm is really good, and feels really nice. I wish there was an option to have a magnetic attachment rather than an adhesive since I mounted it on my machine. Also the magnet is very strong, but requires a puck screen with strong magnetic attraction, which most aren’t due to the materials used in the popular puck screens. Otherwise, it doesn’t really work with the heat and water from the portafilter. The puck screen provided doesn’t have a strong attraction.

The product is excellent, and I would rate it 100% in terms of quality. I have no complaints about the product itself. The only issue was the extremely long delivery time. It took more than a month and a half for my order to arrive. If the shipping and delivery time were improved, the overall experience would be perfect.

The product is called multi-purpose but it's not even useful for a single thing. The magnet doesn't remove the puck screen that is included with the product. So what is it for?
